2019 Napier Toastmasters Awards Dinner

Following a fantastic 2018/2019 year, it was that "time of the year" again to celebrate various member achievements and other highlights.

Peter and Karen were our lively, engaging emcees for the evening at East Pier restaurant. Following a a safety briefing at the beginning (covering premise and bladder evacuation sites; good luck trying to outrun an incoming tsunami in Ahuriri), they went straight into the games and award ceremony.

Pete's special ham award (person who gave me the biggest laugh this year) - Tony (for that deadpan humour. His mere presence standing in front of the audience looking at you with that mischievous grin is intoxicating enough, let alone when he starts talking about efficient use of toilet paper.

The I did not know that award - Craig (For that "did you know it is illegal to milk a cow while inebriated?")
