In 1977 the Club was “District 72 Club of the Year”

In 1988 and 1989 the Club was awarded the “Jack Duffy Memorial Trophy” for Community Service.

In 1990 our member Les Hewett, DTM received a  “Presidential Citation”.
Members of Napier Toastmasters have been winners of a District Speech Contest on at least five occasions:

• Derek Tomkins (1), and 
• Graeme Valentine (4).

Peter McAleer, Graeme Valentine and Les Hewett (thrice) have been Awarded District 72 Toastmaster of the Year.
