On the Twelfth day of Xmas

Well it was Monday the 12th that 8 fine Toastmasters met
Together with one returning guest, who could be a sure bet
Then came another TM, who had to go home to shut the gate
But not without leaving a lovely and plentiful supper plate.

With 2 apologies coming in that day
Proceedings then got us all underway
But wait, there were apologies - 2 more
Which were accepted from the floor.

And now for the mystery Table Topic treat 
With each member taking the floor was no small feat
From believing in one self, did Craig get a nice notebook
To all my Favourites, which made most of us take a look.

Then silver trees, and glow lights for some of us 
To wine and other trinkets, no one made a fuss
Then it was over, just for one more long year
A huge and plentiful supper and a very quick beer.
