Division D International and Evaluation Contests

The Division D International and Evaluation speech contests were held in Rotorua on Sunday 10 April 2016.

With Amy, Ian, Netta, Craig, Graeme and Chris from Napier and Peter C. from Hastings Club, Hawke's Bay was well represented in Rotorua this weekend.

We had the opportunity to listen to a great range of speeches and evaluations. Many of the speeches followed a similar theme about overcoming life's hurdles and fear, and positive thinking.

The winners of the International Speech Contest were:

Congratulations to Amy and Ian. Amy delivered (in my opinion) the best speech of the evening - entertaining and heartfelt!
