Table Topics Contest

Chris
Our meeting on the 25th of August 2014 was a great success.

Toastmaster Christine welcomed all to a well prepared meeting. First item was the annual Table Topics Contest Meeting chaired by Chris, the topic: 'You always Pass Failure on the Way to Success' was fiercely debated by all contestants, a certain challenge for our guest judges, Peter and Brian.

Amy
Top marks to Amy on her most successful presentation, we wish her well in the Area Contest.

Toastmaster Christine
The meeting was well managed by Christine who facilitated every transition with an expert touch. The Table Topics was a great success with Sheryl presenting a wonderful assortment of her childrensí treasures for our enjoyment which engendered some considered speech.

Colin enlightened the meeting with his revelations on engaging with members of the opposite sex, certainly some good pointers there from TM101, getting a dog, how to spot the wedding ring, lots of humour as his manual was 'The Entertaining Speaker'.

Supper was made a special occasion with two cakes made by Christine, thank you very much.

We were pleased to welcome James as a new member pictured here with V.P. Membership Dee.

New member James was inducted by Dee (VP Membership)
